Emu Burgers

I know anyone can make a burger but be patient with me on this one. Emu is not very appetizing if overcooked. They are very readily accepted with a little seasoning salt, cooked medium, and served. They cook a little more by the time you get them served and come out just right.

Ground Emu

Worcestershire Sauce

Seasoning Salt

Make emu into patties. Even though emu is so lean, it seems to hold together well when grilling.

Place emu patty on hot grill. Sprinkle lightly with seasoning salt and a dash of Worcestershire Sauce. Grill for about 2 minutes. Turn and repeat on other side.
