1 ½ lbs. ground emu
3 cans of beans, drained
1 can red beans
1 can white beans
1 can pork n’beans
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, diced
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ to ½ cup chili powder
2 tbsp Grey Poupon
2 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp molasses
3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
1 dash Tabasco Sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
Brown ground emu. Add onion & garlic, cooking until soft, add remaining ingredients.
Simmer to taste, tasting often. At least that is how I do it!
This basic recipe comes close to the taste I like. My family likes this one. To make it more exciting, add more chili powder and cumin for your taste.
