Cascade Premier Enterprises, Ltd. was founded in 1994. It has always been
family owned and operated, and dedicated to making quality and
affordable emu products. We began selling emu meat and when the wonderful
properties and potential of emu oil were discovered we began selling it as well.
Located in Oregon, High Cascade Premier Enterprises Ltd. markets
emu oil and meat produced only from American grown emus.
As one of the
earliest American companies to provide emu oil and emu oil products to the
public, we are committed to manufacture and market only emu oil products of the
highest quality and safety. All High Cascade certified emu oil
sold for human topical or ingestible use is pharmaceutical quality emu oil. It
is very expensive to process high quality emu oil and High Cascade is one
of the few companies that strictly follow this protocol.
The History of High Cascade Premier Enterprises
In
1980, after selling Walker Dairy, Ranch and Farm Supply, a business we
had started in 1968, we founded Champion Custom Built Livestock Equipment,
Inc. Our daughter Kay, having been my office manager since 1977, soon became
a partner in "Champion" along with her husband, Bob Craig.
Early in 1991,
while pursuing our line of work, we became aware of and intrigued with the large
bird from Australia called the Emu. Kay and I, with our spouses, Bob and
BonNell, soon developed High Cascade Emus, Inc. which by 1991 grew from
one ranch into two ranches now known as the "Upper" and "Lower" ranches.
Oil processed from the emu is an extraordinary product that is being tested for
potential uses in the medical and industrial fields as well as cosmetology. This
unique product of the bird from "Down Under" makes the emu fully marketable.
This brought us to the second phase of our vision: to commercially process and
refine the oil.
Ted and Jean Blocker of Blocker Enterprise of
Boring, Oregon have agreed to sell us Emule', a fine line of emu oil cosmetics
and products developed by the Blockers. We are proud to have been associated
with Ted and Jean since the inception of Blocker Enterprise and want to
thank them for this privilege. Their dedication to this endeavor has been
commendable.
To promote these wonderful products, High Cascade Premier
Enterprises, Ltd. was created. In addition to our original staff,
granddaughter Lorilee and her husband, Kenneth Grizzle, came aboard to assist in
corporate management because of our accelerated growth. Our purpose is to
continue to develop new products, strive for the highest in quality and render
superior service. Our intent is to develop a greater demand for all emu
products, to help every emu rancher have a market for the birds we all have
grown to appreciate and, therefore, be able to enjoy the rural lifestyle we have
chosen for ourselves and our families.
