I have recently undergone radiation therapy to my skull for a brain tumor. I had been warned by the doctors that I might experience a very scaly, itchy condition due to the radiation that could be very uncomfortable. Approximately 3 weeks into the treatment I found out what they were talking about! My scalp was not only itchy and scaly and uncomfortable, but also very HOT. Sleeping became difficult. I began using Workmate and almost immediately the heat disappeared and the scaliness was not far behind. A side benefit from applying the cream was that my hands became very soft also.
